How We Do It

The "How We Do It" section is focused on what your competing options are that fulfill your customer's needs, what makes you different from other businesses in the industry, and value your business is able to bring to the market.

There are 3 main components to the "How We Do It" section:

1. Alternative Solutions

2. Unique Features

3. Provided Value

Alternative Solutions

This section challenges you to look at what your competitors are doing in the industry and what they might be doing better. This is the part where you need to humble yourself and your business and think about how your customer may see you but how they may also see other brands/businesses in comparison. Here's an example:

Unique Features

The "Unique Features" section is where you get to think of all of the ways in which your business currently stands out from others in your industry. This section will require a lot of research and maybe even challenge you to think of new and innovative ways in which your business could differentiate it's-self from your competition. Here's an example:

Provided Value

Here is where you have to think of the provided value of your business. You need to understand the reasons why customers will continue to purchase your service or product and support your business. We live in a value driven market right now, and businesses who have failed to notice this aren't as successful as they could be. This is why understanding what your business's provided value is and where it comes from is so important. Your business values don't necessarily have to be things that make you different, but instead what you are giving to your customers that is benefiting them in certain aspects of their life. Here's an example:
