The "SWT" analysis is our own modified version of the classic "SWAT" analysis. Our version focuses on what we believe are the most important factors to understand about your business. SWT stands for:

- Strengths

- Weaknesses

- Trends

Strengths

This is where you must consider all of the things that are working well in your business currently. Think of all the reasons why your company is moving forward in a positive direction and write these down! Here's an example:

Weaknesses

Here is where you need to consider the areas in which your business may be suffering or where there is room for improvement. Think of what currently needs attention and where there needs to be some level of growth in order for your business to be successful. Here's an example:

Trends

Finally, the "Trends" section challenges you to consider what might be happening in the future of your industry, which will most likely be out of your control. Analyzing, understanding, and being aware of trends will also allow your business to capitalize on what is currently taking place in your industry as well. Here's an example
