The "This Is Us" section of our strategic plan allows you to reflect and take a look within your business in an attempt to understand who you essentially are as a company, organization, etc. This is because you need to understand who you are and what you stand for before you should start planning for the future.

There are 3 main components to the "This is Us" section.

1. Purpose

2. Values

3. Elevator Pitch

Figure out what your company exists to do and essentially why people are showing up or logging on every day to work for you. This can be summarized into a mission statement. Here's an example:

Your values are the boundaries/framework for the majority of decisions made in your business in an effort to fulfil your purpose/mission. Values are selected based on what the business is primarily focused on providing to it's customers and employees. Here's an example:

This is effectively how you would want your business perceived by the vast majority of people. You want your elevator pitch to essentially sum up your business's purpose and values in a compelling 1-3 sentence sales pitch max. Here's an example:
